What’s the vibe at The Barbelle Club?

Warm, welcoming, and zero-judgement. We’re a women-only strength space where encouragement is louder than ego and nobody’s watching what weight you’re lifting. Expect supportive coaching, a bit of laughter, and a room full of women all doing their own thing but together.
 

Do I need to be fit before I join?

Absolutely not. We specialise in beginners and women who feel “out of practice” with fitness. Whether you’re brand new, coming back after time away, or just feeling a bit lost, you’re exactly who we’re here for.
 

Is it really women-only?

Yes, on purpose. Our classes are women-only to create a space where you can move, lift, learn, and take up space comfortably, without pressure or intimidation. 
 

What types of classes do you offer?

We run a range of strength-based and feel-good classes, including:

  • Beginner Boost – perfect if you’re new or restarting

  • Group PT – coached strength training in small groups

  • Booty Burn – lower-body and glutes focused

  • Strength & Tone – full-body strength and conditioning

  • Fit & Flow – softer strength, mobility, and mindful movement

All classes are coached, scalable, and designed to help you feel stronger and more confident.

Will I be the weakest one there?

Honestly? Everyone worries about this and it never matters. We coach the person in front of us, not the room. Everyone lifts different weights, works at their own pace, and is supported exactly where they’re at.
 

How do memberships work?

We offer simple, flexible memberships depending on how often you want to train. Some include unlimited classes, others focus on specific sessions. You can also pay as you go if that suits you better. No pressure, no long-term contracts just options that fit real life.
 

Can I try a class before committing?

Yes! We always recommend starting with a single session or a beginner-friendly class so you can get a feel for the space, the coaching, and the community.
 

What if I don’t know how to use gym equipment?

That’s literally our job. We’ll teach you everything you need to know safely, clearly, and without making you feel silly. Everyone starts somewhere.
 

What should I wear or bring?

Whatever you feel comfortable moving in. Leggings, joggers, old T-shirts it all belongs here. Bring water, trainers, and yourself. We’ll handle the rest.
 

Is The Barbelle Club about weight loss?

We focus on strength, confidence, and feeling good in your body. Weight loss may happen for some people, but it’s never the pressure or the priority. We care about how you feel, move, and show up in your life.
 

I’m nervous, is that normal?

Completely. Almost everyone feels nervous before their first session. You won’t be the only one, and you won’t be left to figure it out alone. We’ll meet you where you are.
