Meet The Team

Founder & Personal Trainer
Erin Burbidge
A lifelong fitness enthusiast (but never a natural!), I turned my struggles into a passion for helping others. From overcoming self-doubt in dance class to discovering the science of movement in GCSE PE, my journey led me to support women and the LGBTQIA+ community in building strength and confidence.
After motherhood reignited my love for fitness, I pursued Sports Science and transformed my own health—going from exhaustion after baby number four to tackling 100km challenges.
Now, through The Barbelle Club, I empower others to embrace fitness with balance, joy, and self-belief.
I believe the sky is the limit when it comes to fitness and there is nothing more rewarding than helping my clients see that too!

Class Instructor & Personal Trainer
Natasha Bligh-Smets
With over 11 years’ experience as a Personal Trainer, I’ve worked with everyone from first-time gym-goers to seasoned athletes—both one-on-one and in group settings.
You’ll find me leading high-energy ShowGirl sessions and powerhouse Strength & Conditioning classes, bringing the perfect blend of sweat, smiles, and sass.
For me, keeping active isn’t just a job—it’s part of who I am. I live and breathe the healthy, balanced lifestyle I encourage my clients to embrace. My coaching style is friendly, non-judgemental, and grounded in empathy, so you can feel supported every step of the way.
I love pushing my own limits, both physically and mentally, and nothing makes me happier than helping others discover just how strong, capable, and confident they can be.

Class Instructor & Personal Trainer
Kayleigh Watson
I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Gym Instructor with a real passion for helping women build strength, their confidence and consistency in a way that fits in with real life.
After having my daughter, I discovered the power of strength training and just how much the gym can do for you - not only physically but mentally too. For me, it became a space to reset, rebuild my confidence and reconnect with myself and I love empowering other women to achieve the same.
My coaching style is all about helping people stay on track with their goals in a way that feels realistic, supportive and enjoyable. My classes blend strength, cardio and good vibes, with a big focus on building confidence and making movement accessible for all levels.
I spent 15 years playing roller derby in London and also had a brief spell playing rugby, so movement and community have always been a huge part of my life.
When I’m not in the gym, I’m usually exploring the woods with my rescue dog, squeezing in a CrossFit workout or aiming for gold at my local archery club.
I look forward to getting a sweat on with you soon!
